Spirituality in Mission

When we intentionally commit to our spiritual formation, individually and collectively, we are better able to participate in the Divine dance which welcomes God's preferred future. When we value spirituality as an essential component of mission, we are better able to join in the creative work of God in the world. The resources found here support Spirit driven mission and offer tools, examples, and suggestions to help you engage in mission spiritually.

GROW is a dynamic tool designed to assist congregations as they act on mission and pursue "...the mission of Jesus Christ [which] is what matters most for the journey ahead" (Doctrine and Covenants 164:9f).

Temple Tuesday

Temple Tuesday is a series of over 50 short videos exploring what it means to be a “People of the Temple.” Each video (2–5 minutes) features a different place in, or perspective from, the Community of Christ Temple in Independence Missouri. Looking through the lens of peace, these brief videos connect the diverse symbols and meaning of the Temple to daily discipleship. They are an excellent resource which can be adapted for use in worship, classes, discussion groups, spiritual practice, and more.
